How is Janeway sexy?

Like for sockets in the background? ;)

Tsk tsk. Carelessness is so annoying. I can clone stamp an entire HUMAN out of a photo and a "professional" photographer wants to draw our eyes away from Kate Mulgrew's legs by allowing an electrical outlet to rear its ugly head? Pshaw, I say! PSHAW!

ETA "smartass quotes" around the word "professional".

It was kind of big and there.

Kind of like the air duct too.

 Points to you! La Gordita Grande!

Ah, I didn't realize it was about our choices, I thought it was like the MBTI where it's presumed to be hardwired but how it manifests changes with age.

Well then, I think its clearly Ravenclaw. Will be interested to read DD's comments.

Teacake, remember, when you are in doubt, think about Janeway. She was probably a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, right? And yet, she certainly did some Slytherin-ish things in her time. Yet, she never became a full time Slytherin. Why? She chose not to.

Yes. Any problem we face can be solved by consulting the example of Our Captain. This, I firmly believe.

I'm pretty sure Janeway was Gryffindor. That is one of the differences between her and me, I lack many of those qualities. I'm far more of the mind than full of loyalty and bravery, I could never even get behind Starfleet ideals. Certainly being Gryffindor has contributed to her mothering of her crew as a natural adjunct to being a great leader. Not many great leaders can pull both things off like that.

I'd lean toward labeling Janeway a Gryffindor, too. Though certainly she had a Ravenclaw's wit without measure. I dunno, though, I think her mothering side might be a manifestation of some Hufflepuff qualities.

See! It's hard!

I'm leaning towards Gryffindor as well.

(And if mothering was one of the factors, wouldn't Mrs. Weasley been in Hufflepuff as well? I mean she is the ultimate mother.)

I see Janeway's mothering being about getting behind the group and helping them be strong as a group a lot of the time. For Voyager! being the battle cry. It has a purpose beyond the mother/child relationship that Mrs. Weasley has.

True.

Then yeah, she's a Gryffindor.

If Hermione Granger can get into Gryffindor when she should have been in Ravenclaw then Janeway would be there too.

Janeway is both Swashbuckler AND Scientist.

That spells Griffyndor to me. (Tho I'm not sure "I" can spell the name of THAT house!)

 Points to you! La Gordita Grande!

YES. YES YES.

Since we're talking identity crises and we've settled what house Janeway is in, what house do you think you guys belong to, when all's said and done?

I'm thinking I'm a Hufflepuff.

Also, Possum, 15 points to you for saying that. Where's Pirate Janeway when we need her?

EDIT: GAH DOUBLE POSTING.
AGAIN: HIGH FIVE BACK!
