How long did that take you?
I don't know. The rewatches took longer than the stuff I hadn't seen which I was additively watching.
Okay I found my review thread, I started the original 10 season series on Oct 7 and finished it on March 23 of the next year. And damn looking at the screencaps I included in my posts makes me want to watch it all again
(21 years x 22 eps x 42 minutes) / 60 minutes = 323.4 hours / 24 hours = 13.475 days without bedroom or bathroom breaks.
That just makes me tired thinking about it.
Oh Teacake... I voted for a Captain.
Can you guess which one?
I watched 37 episodes of a show in 2 and a half hours.
Why what JanewaysGirl?
And JRulez, hmm... whoever could it be?
And 13 days, heck it seemed longer.. I'm getting warm fuzzies just thinking about it though.
Why does looking at the screencaps you posted make you want to watch it again?
Because I chose the screencaps as I watched the eps based on what amused or infatuated or baffled me in that ep and looking at them makes me remember my love. And I want to do my love again. Certain old publicity pics of Captain Kirk have the same effect on me.
This is a top 40 song lyric.
.. and again and again and again and again
That's the bridge.
Yep, Kirk is dead under it, drooling blood.
That's the effect I had on him.
Here's my equation..>>I've watched approximately four ST episodes a day, sometimes more, sometimes less accounting for girlfriend sleepovers and jail time over the last 15 years and the absence of the forementioned. That's 4 episodes/24 hours x 43 minutes/episode/day = 172 ST minutes a day x 365 days a year (not including leap years) which is 62,870 minutes a year. Over 15 years, this equals almost a million minutes logged watching Star Trek, or about 15,700 hours.
If watching Star Trek was my job, I would be $251,000 richer.
Yet, Mulgrew has never given me a boner.
Familiarity breeds contempt...
If you watched the same porn movies that many times they'd stop having any effect on you.
I assume you speak from experience.
About having had too much of the same thing? Definitely. I was a spoiled adolescent and I got a little jaded about some things. If you mean to imply that I've watched porn that long then that's a definite no. But I didn't watch ST for that long either, I couldn't.
I didn't imply anything, you said it boy-eee!
And yeah, the math shows that I have watched more Star Trek than any sane human being should watch.
Errr....present company excluded.
I have watched DS9, VOY and ENT through about 4 times each?
Multiple rewatches of favorite VOY eps past that.
TNG I've watched twice.
TOS, well mainlined that when it was the only Trek, it easily is the one I've seen the most. I used to keep a record of it each time I watched a TOS ep, I remember CoteofF was in the double digits.
Haven't watched any Trek for quite a while though.
Well, I watch porn on occasion but definitely not at that level of frequency. But if you need to believe that to feel better I guess it must be part of your culture. There's no stigma in mine attached to watching porn.
Four times is the maximum number that I'll watch an episode over a period of ten years, otherwise good or bad , I would hate it. The only movies that I'll watch more than that are the classics, like 2001 for example in Science Fiction.
