It's all a matter of our own personal opinion to be honest! Our own canon! ENT was affected by the temporal war in the future (one upon which we never saw or knew anything about. We assume the Romulans were behind it or maybe even just involved because of the image of the man in the stream but due to bad writing and planning it was never revealed!) Earth was attacked by a race of aliens known as Xindi which never happened in the TOS timeline and before anyone disputes that I'm sure it was stated in the episode itself! So that might explain DSC with history going off in another direction but our TOS is still there!
