I'll be honest. I liked visiting San Francisco, but never really LIKED it. And part of that was because...on my favorite tv show, EVERY character was familiar with the city for having attended the Academy there. Yeah, I felt inferior to fictional tv characters!
But, the last time I was in the city, for just 48 hours, I really grew to love it, enough that, given the means and reasons, I could see myself living there.
Then visiting NYC and DC made me realize I liked those cities, too. In fact, I think I prefer city life to suburban life, having lived only in the LA area and Fresno.
