Early Christianity was apparently the first Microsoft. Embrace, extend and extinguish!

Not accurate, though. The wholesale Roman adoption of Greek culture predated Christianity by centuries.
It had a message that resonated very well in the time it developed in. From the writings of Pliny the Younger, Tacitus, and Josephus among others, it must have spread quickly, as it was already in Rome by the time of Emperor Nero.Oh ok.... I stand corrected. I still can't get over how a small religion co-opted by the Romans and changed and edited gained such a foothold with humanity. I mean it's the same for most of the world's religions just yeah but the two biggest ones started small and just grew and never died.
