How do you think you would feel if "Orville" does get cancelled?

Honestly, i'd be a but sad, but would easily get over it. It's a show I can't watch with my kids (if I had a teenager, yeah, but not yet)..there's way too much else for me to watch for me to miss it terribly.

I be sad if Orville gets cancelled, but hopefully it wont.

And speaking of comedies, tomorrow will be a good day. "Curb" is back.

That's another "feel good" show which I think is kind of neat in that it is kind of a "Orville" show as well. If "Orville" is basically a new version of TNG then "Curb" was and is a new version of "Seinfeld."

I will go on a barely literate and very immature twitter rant. Or maybe I'll crawl into the fetal position and cry. Or possibly just be sad for a day or two and move on.

I'd feel sad for Seth McFarlane*. I still can't quite believe he went and made his own Star Trek show.

*in the vague kind of way one feels bad for rich people

I'd be disappointed, but I'd probably buy whatever is released on blu/dvd for it and move on.

So far, it's my surprise hit of the season. It's a fun show, with clever surprises and refreshing heart. I think using Trek directors, especially, makes it feel familiar and charming. It falls flat in places, but it's generally effervescent for me -- I'd be very disappointed. Add me to the mailing list.

Apathetic because I haven't seen it. It has yet to be shown by FOX in the UK.
Episode One is up for free on (American) Amazon.com.

Fuck knows when FOX UK will bother to show the rest... :sigh:

(I miss the days of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, when for a stretch we got episodes before the US)

Same thing happened in Canada.

I know for a couple seasons of Atlantis, when the Americans stopped airing it during the Christmas/holiday hiatus it kept airing in Canada.

Mind you the channel it aired on was a premium cable channel.

Disappointed. Orville is like watching new NG episodes...the good NG episodes.

I'd be pretty disappointed. Discovery isn't working for me and there's no other spaceship shows on TV.

Which makes me think of another question. What are some of the other light and cheery stuff on tv today that also offers these feelings along with Orville? A few I can think of would be:

1 The new Mystery Science Theater 3000

2 All the CW comic book shows plus "Supernatural."

3"Veep"

4"Silicon Valley"

5 "Family GUy" and "American Dad"

6 Wrecked,Angie Tribeca,People of Earth

6"Family Guy"

I think I can think of a few more but it might take some time.

The Librarians, of course. (Returning for its fourth season in December.)
