I post a couple of times a week. 18 years ago, it would have been 100 times a day. I've never really PMed.
Post daily. PM occasionally but that isn't nearly as frequent.
Perhaps it's a control question.The OP won't get any answers by people who never post anything. It is unlikely that they will participate in that poll.....
That's me too. Went with Some, but I'm kind of in between those two. I PM sometimes, but not often.
I deleted 185+ PMs the other day; the last was dated 2005. There has been a big flashy red alert top right for god knows how many years since the board upgraded to new software and I never cleared them lol. Anyway ...
1st decade of service: Spammed, banned, modded (before T'Bonz outmaneuvered me to run the place) + drama. Made a general nuisance of myself for a brief time. Fun was involved. Settled. Matured. Lurk mode engaged.
2nd decade: Lurked. Resurfaced. Commented on things here and there. Nonetheless checking in at TrekBBS has been a cornerstone for 18+ years...

The year I was seriously ill, I was a “heavy” poster; this place was an emotional lifeline. Most of the time before and after that, “moderate”. This past year and probably into the future, down to “some”.
I peruse the board about every other day, and post maybe once a week. There was a time when I posted more often, about once a day, but the board hasn't been that busy for a while now. I do read a lot of threads, I just don't have much to contribute on the topics that seem to be recurring lately.
I think I've exchanged less than 10 PMs in the entire 14 years I've been on the board. Although I've encountered many people that I find interesting, entertaining, annoying, thoughtful, ridiculous, or funny over the years, I've not really developed many friendships as a result of being a member here. I did meet a couple of great people back in the early years that I'm now Facebook friends with, but they don't post here anymore.

I post almost exclusively in the Lounges and in Misc and write the occasional PM. And I consider it my responsibility to keep threads I started going.
Since so far our data security guys have overlooked TBBS it's one of the few boards I can still access from my office. So I post here rather frequently during my lunch break while I frequent other boards when I'm at home.

I was thinking of you when trying to remember my past PM conversations! Seems like you stick mostly to TNZ now, right? I don't venture in there very often.
