So how about you guys? What do you wear and how do you rock it?
I shop from eShakti a lot --- cotton dresses, lots of material, traditional-feminine.

Optional custom fitting and sleeve length? What is this madness and why is this the first I've heard of it?

I like wearing dresses and skirts, most of the time. I work at a software company and it's been mentioned more than once that I'm not really dressed in the typical 'uniform' --- t-shirt and jeans (and on fancy days, polo shirt and khakis!).

This is a good example of the kind of thing I like to wear (I own it, actually):

It's awesome, I know! It took me years to find it, and I'm a 6'0" gal with a funny shape who hates traditional sizing.

That dress in BEAUTIFUL. Unfortunately, I'm way too flabby to pull that off. If it had some sleeves on it, I might dare to give it a go. But I really love that 40s "sweetheart" cut.

Haha, I'm on the opposite end, 5'1", but I hate traditional sizing too. You should never have showed me this site. I'm just going through thinking .. and I want this, and this, and this ...![]()
Zip then fasten, or fasten then zip?
I noticed that one and it's really pretty, but I'd never fit into that.
True. I need to get a least one casual dress, and a shrug or light sweater, especially since it's a)ungodly hot here for 9 months of the year, and b)every place here has the A/C set at Artic Blast---and I always seem to wind up sitting right under the vent.
OMG, DUKAT, you HORRIBLE WOMAN! Thanks a lot for posting that damned eshakti site. Now I have to shop! I don't have the money for this. I blame you! It's awesome, I know! It took me years to find it, and I'm a 6'0" gal with a funny shape who hates traditional sizing.

Custom sizing, though! The idea being (which is the way clothing should be marketed in the first place) that pieces should be made to fit you, rather than the other way around
