How Did The Master Destroy The Timelords A Theory

I've seen quite a few people, mainly the usual suspects on social media who've hated the whole show since Jodie was announced, claim that The Master being able to destroy Gallifrey is a massive plothole as he would never have the power to do it. I have a theory that easily explains this. He used The Moment.

C'mon, does anyone seriously believe that The Moment's Conscience would ever be able to persuade this incarnation of The Master NOT to press the button?

If he'd used the Moment, there wouldn't be a planet left. If he'd just used a bomb (a nuke most likely), there would have been survivors in the outlying regions. He spoke of the Death Particle destroying all organic life on the planet, but there was practically none left at that point anyway; it was extreme overkill. Whatever he did targeted all Gallifreyans on the planet simultaneously, in a way that prevented regeneration, THEN he razed the Capitol city to the ground.

And it wouldn't have been instant death, or even quick. That he does to those he doesn't give the first damn about. This time, these people... he'd be going for maximum pain and anguish. Which to me says biowarfare.

He hacked the Matrix.
How hard is it to believe he also hacked the planet’s defense system which are quite devastating in the wrong hands I imagine.
If they turned against Gallifrey without warning it would probably be over very quickly.

He specifies in Spyfall part 2 that he nuked it, literally. Having hacked the Matrix yet again, that's not at all unlikely since he could simply switch off any defences.

I mean I never understood why the Daleks had so much trouble. The Vardans invaded with ease!

Rest assured that Gallifrey stands. The time lords are not so thick that they would fell foul of one deranged deranged trouble maker. Both The Doctor and the Master are under the effect of a very powerful perception filter and see only what they are supposed to see, This is time lord trickery, and they have yet to play their hand.

Yeah but sentient tinfoil could show up and all I'd need to do is set the cat on it. Daleks are immune to cats, which is possibly the most terrifying thing about them.

No, the horrid truth that even the TimeLords will not admit...

Secretly, Daleks ARE cats! The "Kaled mutants" within the casings? "Puppets" to throw off suspicion!
