How Canon is Endgame?

Does anybody have an issue with how they wrote 7of9 into a relationship with Commander Chakotay in the final episode? Was this something that had been seen before in prior episodes? I have not seen all the last few VOYagers so that is why I ask for enlightenment.

Not really. :klingon:

In order not to spoil... the actors themselves complained that 1 episode "looked" like they were suppose to start getting interested in each other, and they specifically asked TPTB if that was the direction the season was arcing and they were told ABSOLUTELY NOT. :bolian:

Then a couple eps later....

^^True... but since I was recently chastized (this thread?) for doing just that (spoiling) from someone on his first visit to the series, I went for discretion.

Really? I'm sorry to anyone watching Voyager for the first time, but it's 11 years later...it's reasonable to expect that there'll be spoilers floating around! It might be annoying but...well that's just the way it is...it'd be like complaining that TNG spoiled Sherlock Holmes because you didn't know Holmes killed Moriarty at Reichenbach...

Sounds like they were already skipping ahead.

If it's their first time watching the show, haven't finished the series. Isn't being in a post about the last episode already spoiling it? If that's the case, JanewayRulz didn't spoil anything.

Where people need to be careful about old spoilers (it happens in TrekLit too) is when a poster will say, specifically, that they are about to watch/read a particular episode/book that is new to them, and people jump in and start discussing its spoilers in the thread where to OP was wondering if they would like it.

Otherwise, I believe the general rule of thumb is 12 months.

That's actually how I found out.

Spiners cadence bouncing about in my head

First of all 20+ year old TNG episode
Second of all 100+ year old book

And I didn't spoil the Adventure of the Empty House so you can't be mad :p
