How are the planets named ?

^^I agree. Certainly there are things we don't know about the universe, but they would fit together with what we already know, not contradict it. So fictional science should at least use real science as a starting point.

It's kinda like a few years back when we got this new crop of comic book artists that hadn't studied any sort of art besides comic books! Except for the occasional porno mag, judging by the way they drew their female characters.

I've been noticing how many comics are done by people who just haven't studied how to render human forms correctly. I mean, I can understand exaggerated attributes, but that doesn't account for all the drawing mistakes in all parts of the body. Too many comics artists settle for a sort of "polish" that impresses people the first time they look at these artists' work... take a longer, closer look, though, and some of the mistakes in proportion are insane. I remember one full-page panel, page one, (Infinity Watch, one of the last ones) where the legs were at least three times as long as the torso. The character was on a freakish pair of fleshy stilts, basically. No one caught it, and this went out to the public.

I'm learning about drawing, and am determined not to make these kinds of mistakes.
