Tolerance doesn't protect intolerance. You're thinking of the ACLU.
I love the sarcasm some of the supposedly "tolerant" folks show when a differing opinion is voiced.
I did get a kick out of the love for Cheney though.

And yet when people point out the flaws with your religious beliefs, you become offended and whine about being attacked and cannot understand why people are so intolerant.
Again, the irony is amazing.
It certainly seems hypocritical to me. Or that too judgmental? However you seem to have one set of guidelines for yourself, and another for homosexuals. Christ specifically said not to judge, and yet you do so perpetually. You are unrepentant for doing so. Isn't that hypocritical?A serial adulterer is hurting his spouse. Who is a monogamous homosexual hurting? Why should someone's sexual orientation prevent them from holding a secular office? Shouldn't you strive NOT to judge someone?
In my opinion (and perhaps not yours) homosexuality hurts the moral fabric of our society.
I never said it should prevent someone from holding office. you are more than welcome to vote for a homosexual if you wish, That's your right and I respect it.
In an election we are each weighing the plusses and minuses of a candidate and some things weigh more heavily. Hence, no vote from me.
Pretty amazing that this happened in Texas. Definitely a sign that things are progressing, slowly but surely.
Seems you are unaware of what's called "The Gay Agenda". Their master plan is to make everyone else gay. I'm surprised you've never heard about it.

Sorry, no tolerance for intolerant people. Try again.I love the sarcasm some of the supposedly "tolerant" folks show when a differing opinion is voiced.
It's inevitable; it's just a matter of when. The Founding Fathers set it up 200-plus years ago, and we've been moving towards it ever since.Anyways, good for Texas. Slowly but surely, the intolerant are losing their hold on this country. Well, I'd like to think that's the case...

How is it hurting the moral fabric of our society? Catholic churches hurt the moral fabric of our society by protecting pedophiles. Politicians are hurting our moral fabric of our society by having affairs and divorcing (against the Bible). Hell women shouldn't hold positions of power at all and should be servant to man according to some parts of the Bible, so them having power is destroying our moral fabric of society.
Seriously, TLS, have you ever really met a homosexual? Talked to a bisexual? Some of my best friends and even my bosses have been both. Hell a close friend of mine is a bisexual and a few are gay/lesbian. And I could care less if they were screwing a cow. They are my friends because of who they are as people not who they are in love with.

If that happens the GOP is going to be up shit's creek when it comes to the White House.Texas is slowly but surely going liberal. I have read projections that it will be a blue state in ten years. I thought that those projections were a bit optimistic but in light of this...

I'd be worried if my friends were having sex with farmyard animals![]()
