Am I the only one thinking they're setting up Foreman/Thirteen?
We can call them Foreteen!
(I think I should copyright that)
Groaaannn. You're welcome to take credit -- who else would want to?
House comes across to me as someone who would google his own name.
That would turn up a ton of false hits, though...
(Yeah, yeah, he could search for his full name in quotes. Still...)
House tricking Kutner with the hooker "patient" was gold.
Yeah, but I figured out it was a trick as soon as they got to the morgue. The way the scene was being played and directed was just too light, like a comedy scene rather than a tragic scene; I didn't believe even this show would get that macabre in its attitude.
Although I should've figured it out earlier; I did vaguely think it was an unbelievable coincidence that Kutner's problem patient would just happen to get into the same elevator they were on and mention that she was going to see House.
The desk was a nice touch.
Yeah, it's shocking that he actually did something genuinely and unambivalently nice for Cuddy, and it was a very sweet and romantic gesture. But he still doesn't get it, and uses up those last three hours with the hooker without realizing there's any issue there where Cuddy's concerned.
Anyway, having just recently bought and watched the DVDs of
Superman: The Animated Series, it was amusing to note that this episode featured two of that show's villains, Mercy Graves (Lisa Edelstein) and Livewire (Lori Petty, who was the Huntington's patient that made Thirteen so uncomfortable). Odd that Petty got such prominent billing for a no-dialogue role. I assume it's the beginning of a recurring appearance and she'll have more to say later on. Ahh yes, and IMDb confirms she's in next week's episode as well.
