The crap Cuddy lets House pull is all done to save a patient's life without risk others' (aside from POTW's.)

What Forman did was risk a study that could effect THOUSANDS of lives.

Far worse in the grand scale.

This amuses me. As seen in last night's episode, House has a picture of Stephen Colbert on his desk, just like Colbert has a picture of Dr. House on his bookshelves.

So I've been a fan of House since I don't know...Season 2 (I caught snippets of Season 1 but was a senior in college, didn't have time to watch).

I just have to say...I've been dissapointed with almost every episode this whole season outside of House and Wilson's road trip reconcilliation. I don't know if it's because I miss the original set of doc-lings, or if it's the fact that I am really really tired of Thirteen taking over the show but I hope that she's less of a presence after this week. I really felt the whole episode dragged every time the Foreteen plot came up again.

House is the character I watch for and it feels like he's been put to the side to focus on Hadley. While I didn't mind her in season 4, I think they've ignored developing any of the other characters to focus on her (outside of Cuddy and her baby...and what's up with that as well? She also seems very OOC from the previous seasons). That stupid episode about her 'partner' getting sick was just gratutous. Her being the 'guinea pig' for the hostage episode did nothing to make me care for her more.

Bring back the real Wilson and Cuddy, get rid of Thirteen! I'm wondering if it'd even be worth buying the DVDs this season aside from the closure of the Amber plot line at the beginning of the season.

I agree. The relationship bullshit is dragging down the show, and the worst part is 13, she needs to go. I'm about to ditch the show and I have seen every episode. Stop with the bullshit relationships that no one cares about. Foreman and 13 aren't even close to being a realistic couple, they have no chemistry at all!

I don't understand why everyone has such a problem with House these days but then again am not surprised the longer a show goes on the more picky people get. The other 14 million will still be around so more years for us :)

Well, to me the show hasn't been "on fire" like it has in the past and has lost some step -due mostly to the "Foreteen" arc- but I still enjoy and hope for an upswing when this paticular arc is through. This certainly isn't worse than the "Shitter" arc in S3. We've got as many as 10 episodes left this season. :)

I think people are overly hating on Thirteen and I don't think my "just because she's pretty" excuse is going to cover all of it. People are *really* hating on her!

Because she is a whiny annoying bitch whom the writers are shoving down our thoughts and yet she is still somehow 2D and boring!

This is House, not 13 Featuring House MD!

Haha, wow, that's a nice touch.

BTW, I have nothing against 13, but I'm not a fan of pairing her with Foreman. At the same time, while I used to like him, Taub's starting to annoy me as well.

Kumar's the only doc I really like at the moment out of the new ones, I guess.

Is the Tritter arc not well-liked? I had no idea - I really liked those episodes. Certainly more than Foreteen.

This week's episode was superb - back on form and easily the best of the 4 shown post-Christmas.

the tritter arc was one that just kinda dragged on a bit and just created a charater I hated, and i diddnt care for the S-1 evil bully boss arc (forgot his name) either, Hostile Work Environment lawsuit, anybody?

The first season's arc was Vogler. I kind of liked that one -though I think Vogler could've been an interesting character if used differently. He was the Season-1 "shake-up" Arc.

Season-2's "shake-up" Arc was the Foreman-as-boss after one of House's patients dies as a result of mistake made by Chase. An arc that didn't ammount to much.

Then we has Season-3's Tritter Arc, which I didn't like. Mostly because I really didn't like Tritter and his "beef" with House was trivial at best and he overly abused his police power and I'd even say in a couple cases went beyond it. (Though I presume -as he was presented as a cop House- he got away with most of it by having a "Cuddy" with a Judge or even his Chief in his pocket so he could get away with some of the gross abuses of powers and rapes of House's rights.)

Season-4's Arc is either the "Reality Show Contest" for the new Doclings/Fellows or maybe with CTB being Wilson's GF.

So-far, it seems Season-5's "shake-up arc" is the Foreteen nonsense.

The two of you can't seriously be knocking the wonderful, beautiful, incredible, great ....

Dr. Crusher?

Sela Ward

Oh.

No, she's a very beautiful woman but, I dunno, something about how she was potrayed on House was... odd. First of all, her face was overly botoxed (or something) so it was pretty expressionless. They way she was made up between the way her hair was done and makeup she sort-of, well, looked to me like a slightly smoother Michael Jackson.

Just saying.

Generally, though, I find her to be a beautiful woman. She just didn't work for me on House.

Best part of the episode: the Colbert cameo.

The rest, not much goodness. I'm afraid I'm just not that into this series anymore.
