This was a great one. I loved the "She is hot!" line. Nothing too emotional like the premiere but a fun one. I really like Taub, too.

Fairly good episode, but nothing special. I was a bit annoyed about House's meddling with Taub's personal life, even if it lead to somewhere. Meh.

I really don't like the PI and Wilson's absence was definitely felt. I hope they hit the rest button sooner than later. That being said, the preview for next looks hilarious. :D

A fellow House fanatic pointed out to me earlier today that she realized something is missing right now: No clinic scenes. Those need to return because they were always fun. Plus, Nurse Brenda needs to return, too. We haven't seen her since early season 3.

Considering how long she's been gone I doubt we'll see Evil Nurse Brenda again. And, yeah, I really miss the clinic scenes but it's nice getting the Magic School Bus/TMI Cam again! :)

The next episode with House and Wilson and a roadtrip to House's father's funeral looks to be really good. Could it be what gets them together again?

:)

(Sad to hear that House's father will die considering how estranged they were.)

Yeah, you're probably right. :(

I certainly hope so, but I somehow doubt it.

Indeed. I'm also sad because it means we won't see R. Lee Emery on the show again. :(

^ I wonder how much more of House's childhood will be explored. He did, after all, hate the guy. Who could blame him after those ice baths and making him sleep on the lawn?

I gave it a "Very Good". I've decided that's probably what I'll give to episodes that aren't bad at all, but also aren't the Season 4 finale. :)

I thought Taub's bit about having a happy and fulfilling relationship without "being storybook" was interesting. (Hey, Entertainment Industry, you know people can actually have good marriages right?) And I'm also curious about what he was going to say to his wife; if I heard the dialogue correctly, I don't think it's possible she bought the wrong car, nor do I even suspect that's what it was. I'm also not crazy about House meddling in his personal life, because I think it's clear he's gotten into Taub's head in a very bad way.

It's really bothering me that Chase and Cameron are supposed to be main characters still and yet are just thrown in for one line an episode, or sometimes don't even appear. Either kill them off or keep them as a real part of the show, this is dumb.

That's what's been missing, that I haven't been able to pin down! The clinic scenes. A kid shove trinkets up his nose, etc.

By "Magic School Bus/TMI Cam", are you referring to the CGI simulated traveling down the bloodstream to watch the nasties do their stuff? I have to admit that while I found them fascinating, I was glad to take a break from them for awhile. Still, it's good to see it return. Even if the bezoar was the size of an avocado!

I really liked this episode - and the interaction between the P.I. and House. Honestly, right now I'm not missing Wilson at all except for the fact that this situation should be resolved somehow. But the chemistry between the PI, House and Cuddy just worked for me.

And I agree, Chase and Cameron should appear more regularly or not at all. It's a bit of a cheat to have them in the credits but not deliver more than one line or two (or have them not appear)...

Chase & Cameron should be down to recurring roles and written out over the season.

Average. I liked the medical mystery this episode a lot better than in the previous one, but House's characterization this season seems to be a bit off. There are probably storyline reasons for it, but it's still a bit off-putting.

The PI is distracting and the fact that I know that he's being written into the show just for the possibility of making a spin-off out of him makes him even more distracting.

I loved this one. Better than last week's, and I liked seeing more of Taub. He seems to get shorter shrift than the other two usually so it's about time he got an episode. And Mrs Taub is hot!

I want PI man and Cuddy to get it on - think of the possible House/Cuddy effects. It could be incredible.

This was a pretty good episode with a good medical mystery to it.

I miss the neat unusual cases and clinic scenes. The show, I feel, is bogging itself down with getting overly involved with the character's lives. Aside from House I don't really care about the characters. I don't care that Taub has a strained marriage or 13 has Hutchingtons. I just want medical mysteries, House being brilliant and laying the smack-down on dumb clinic patients.

I agree, some character development is fine, makes the characters feel real and less cardboard cutout, but too much can happen. I have read spoilers, wait until November, you will hate it.

How sad is it that I knew exactly what they were talking about when they said "bezoar", only because I'm a Harry Potter fan? LOL

Great episode. Can't wait for the next one! Is the no-House next week because of baseball?

Joy

Probably.

Very sad.

But I'm in kind of the same place, so I won't hold it against you. :)

Hmmmm.... Dr. Greg House played by Severus Snape..... has possibilities!
