Hotel Guest Finds Snake On Toilet

But it wasn't a big snake. It was only three foot long.

Here is where our definitions of 'big snake' differ... We don't get many snakes in Colorado, so the biggest snake I've seen in the wild was probably 2 feet long at the most. I was told it was a bull snake which isn't dangerous at all, but it still scared the crap out of me.

Bull snakes, although giving one the willies, are great to have around. They eat mice and rats. I've encountered one that was well over 11' long. I couldn't pick my legs up high enough, although he just wanted to get away from me. I admire and respect them, but.....YEESH!

I just looked up bull snake b/c Im not familiar with them... that one would have scared me more than the small python from the article b/c it actually looks a lot like a rattler. I would definitly be alarmed if I found a rattlesnake in my bathroom.

Just reading about it gives me the willies. I'm with Indy - "I hate snakes!" In my case, it's pretty much due to a *very* close call with a cottonmouth about 15 years ago.

If it were me, the hotel would have to find me a room in a different hotel. Preferably on a very high floor.

Plot thickens.

The original owner of the snake has been located. He left it there when he stayed at the same hotel - A MONTH AGO! linky

So the owner LOST the snake at the hotel but was too chickenshit to say anything; the snake has been there since frickin' March...
