Hot Wheels Enterprise-D Model

imranbecks

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
Some photos of my recently acquired Enterprise-D model from Hot Wheels. It is made up of part diecast and part plastic. Its not exactly as detailed as the recently released Art Asylum Ent-D but its pretty good for its scale with some tiny markings on some parts of the ship such as "ENTERPRISE" and "NCC-1701-D" and yes, it comes with a detachable saucer too!

that's lovely. wish i could still find that. the ones i have are the johnny lightning ones. they're actually pretty good.

This is a great toy for the price. I'm amazed that they actually colored the deflector dish and its housing with reasonable accuracy. The old die-cast metal Galoob ship of the same size colored the entire deflector area in copper, and the 15" Playmates toy used transparent red.
