Just because you don't doesn't mean no one has.Disney also owns ABC, ESPN, and Marvel, but no-one has ever tried to criticize or dismiss their operations and output by referring to them as "Disney".

Wut?Disney also owns ABC, ESPN, and Marvel, but no-one has ever tried to criticize or dismiss their operations and output by referring to them as "Disney".
That would be a first for me. I've heard ESPN hosts blame ABC and Disney but not over commercials. That's interesting... *smokes pipe in thoughtfulness*People do that all the time when they deserve scrutiny. See, for example, any r/NFL live game thread during MNF. People constantly complain about the commercials and put the blame solely on Disney.
It might not always be negative, but I do see a lot of references to Disney when it comes to Marvel Studios output. Both Marvel and Lucasfilm are owned by Disney, and the Bobs Iger and Chapek do have seem to play at least some role in deciding what those companies are going to do.Disney also owns ABC, ESPN, and Marvel, but no-one has ever tried to criticize or dismiss their operations and output by referring to them as "Disney".
I'm pretty sure she gets a least a few of emails and phone calls like that. Marvel and Lucasfilm are two of Disney's biggest money makers right now, so I'm pretty sure the Bobs probably keep a pretty close eye on them, and take at least some role in OKing things they want to do.Disney executives who are higher up the chain than Kathleen Kennedy are not constantly hanging around Lucasfilm's offices or sending her emails dictating how she runs the company.
You might not like it, but there really is. There are two very clear eras of Star Wars, when it was an independent company owned and run by George Lucas, and when it was bought by Disney and run by Kathleen Kennedy. Disney and Kennedy have taken a different approach to the franchise than Lucas did, so I think it's entirely fair to use Disney when you are specifically discussing things that have happened since they bought the company. There's no such thing as " Disney Star Wars"; there's just Star Wars.

If Lucas was in charge of 7-9 and assuming he would have picked her for the part, Daisy Ridley's career would have never taken off.Presumably portray the big three as more central and heroic, they would be willing to get some stiff acting and a lot of CGI eye-candy to get that.
From some of the comments he's made, even if George Lucas did do VII-IX we probably still wouldn't have gotten that.Presumably portray the big three as more central and heroic, they would be willing to get some stiff acting and a lot of CGI eye-candy to get that.
Honest question. What would individuals want from Lucas coming back and how would this be different than the Prequels?

People do not. They just know that they don't like the ST and hope springth eternal.Haven't read every post in this but do people not realise George Lucas is 76 years old? 77 next week?
If he wants to go make another massive trilogy for the next 10 years go ahead, but I don't see it happening.
From comments people who are familiar with his version of the sequels have made, it sounds like he would have also introduced a central cast of new characters, including a young woman as the lead, and Luke would have still become a hermit.I don't think those individuals want anything different from the prequels since it only ever seems to be prequel fans who want Lucas to return. Seems unlikely anyone else would. Prequel fans got used to SW being exactly what they wanted, so it probably came as a shock when someone tried to tell a story without so many lightsaber duels.
I imagine we'd have got exactly that if Lucas had actually had to make the sequels.
Darth Talon
The story about the Empire would parallel the fall of Iraq and the rise of insurgents - former stormtroopers would resist the New Republic and form their own rebellion. Luke would begin rebuilding the Jedi order by searching the galaxy for Force sensitive younglings. Leia is busy forming the New Republic and a Skywalker granddaughter (similar to Rey) is the new focal character.
it really just sounds a little to perfectly line up with what the fans want.
I would like a list of his sources. I do not trust Star Wars Theory any more so no matter how interesting his speculation it is still still speculation.
