Hitler reacts to Discovery

I saw this in another thread as well. The vid contains every cliche gripe about the show that I've seen on the internet. Not one of them is something I haven't seen in this very forum.

I made an update (link above) regarding the renewal announcement.

I'm rather pleased with myself.

As someone who loves Disco and finds some of the canonz threads tedious, It was funny. Right up until the point where he mentioned taking it out on some Jews.

The Holocaust is not funny.

Must be popular opinions.

I can't figure out how to get this into a format that's capable of being embedded here...but I took the liberty of putting this together:

"If Discovery succeeds we will never get a utopian TNG era series
with ponderous conference room scenes
and shows about how evolved humans are morally superior!
We'll just get more of this modern dramatic interpretation of Trek!
with believable characters dressed in non-canon uniforms!"

ROTFLOL

IT RUINS RODDENBERRY'S VISION!!!

Speaking of understanding the dialogue, I've always enjoyed this one for the meta aspect:

Geez, how many movies covering the subject matter are there? There's G. W. Pabt's movie Der letzte Akt from 1955, this one and Downfall whose producers pretended that no-one had actually tackled this before even though they were well aware of Pabst's movie at least. Interesting that Hitler comes off as more sympathetic in this scene in Downfall than in this movie because he doesn't threaten the generals with execution.

I find some Untergaenger videos funny, some not. That has nothing to do with how you misrepresent the original.
A minor quibble: the movie is called Der Untergang in German, not Untergänger which isn't even a real word.

I'm not using the name of the film.
