Ha, I love those! I just discovered them the other day, too. I really dig the drawing style and wish there were more episodes. It's somewhat sad that we don't have something like this on a daily or weekly basis. I'd really enjoy a well-made Star Trek comic strip. Like the ones they did in the eighties(?), which I have collected in a wonderful book.

I was wondering that, too, and still am a little, but, given that there is no copyright notice on the images and that he is using trademarks and copywritten material from Star Trek, my educated (but admittedly not LAWYER-educated) guess would be no.

Actually, if you look up the basic meaning of "meme", it is any thought concept that gets spread around. So it *is* a meme, it's just that the word "meme" is one of the most useless memes in the language, and language, btw, is *also* a meme.
