Ha, I love those! I just discovered them the other day, too. I really dig the drawing style and wish there were more episodes. It's somewhat sad that we don't have something like this on a daily or weekly basis. I'd really enjoy a well-made Star Trek comic strip. Like the ones they did in the eighties(?), which I have collected in a wonderful book.

^He is in a small room, mostly by himself for the duration of his shift. I can see it now, O'brien comes home, Keiko asks how was his day, and he bursts with tears knowing that he has the most remedial (and mechanically replaceable) position on the ship.

I like these too. Are there any copyright issues with Jon Adams regarding copying his work for display here?

I haven't laughed this much at a webcomic for a long, long time. My 7 year old self, who thought that that was all O'Brien ever did, has been vindicated :)

I was wondering that, too, and still am a little, but, given that there is no copyright notice on the images and that he is using trademarks and copywritten material from Star Trek, my educated (but admittedly not LAWYER-educated) guess would be no.

These are awesome. All I keep thinking when I read each one is, "aww, poor Chief O'Brien!"

That's not a "meme", that's a "comic strip."
Actually, if you look up the basic meaning of "meme", it is any thought concept that gets spread around. So it *is* a meme, it's just that the word "meme" is one of the most useless memes in the language, and language, btw, is *also* a meme. ;)

These are good. It must be a very boring job! Plus, isn't there something like 20 transporter rooms, with hardly any utilisation rates?
