HIKE ANIMATION's Star Trek Projects

Adding the Bird of Prey in this scene. The proportions here are better than in shot 4

I don’t think that’s going to buff out.

How are you creating your explody bits? Are these actual explosions you’re rendering in situ or are they explosions comped from stock footage?

I used a combination of explosion footage video and 3D flames. All large explosions are video footage because my 3d plugin doesn't generate realistic fire.

Because I don't want to use Texttospeech for the small dialog in the final video, is there anyone who can help with the voice over ?

Thanks

Fascinating...did you happen to borrow the idea from this old animation from 20 or so years ago? It seems very similar, especially the name.

Oh interesting....I didn't know this video. I had this idea to put some scenes of ST III and ST IV together.

Really nice. :mallory:

But you might want to rename the Miranda class ship since Reliant kidna went Kboom when the Genesis device did so too. :)

The ship is renamed to NCC-1837 USS Lantree. I've forgot the two signs on the left nacelles  but
you won't notice that in the video.

I thought the text to speech was pretty good for the Lantree scene. It reminded me of the voices in Jason T's Star Trek IV Probe video.

I found a professional, who made me a better voice over, so I could replace the complete dialogue on the bridge of the "Lantree".

If there is a way to do it, we gotta see a black box POV version of the Enterprise self destructing and crashing, seeing how it somehow remained mostly intact upon impact.
