Wasn't the original good enough? Seriously, what would it bring more than what we had in 1986?
I concede your point there. However, I did enjoy the tv show quite a bit.

I would like it if they actually cast a Scot to play Connor this time around. It's not a necessity, but it would be nice.
If the African American as a Japanese Warrior you're referring to was Mario Van Peebles' Kane, I think he was actually a Mongol.

I love Highlander but it does crack me up that a French guy is playing a Scot while a scot is playing a spaniard........with a Scottish accent.......
Got to love Connery....
Russian Sub commander...with a Scottish accent.
Irish Cop.....with a Scottish accent.
Allan quartermain......with a Scottish accent
Well at least the actor playing the scot highlander was actually standing next to a scot....![]()
I'll second that. One of the reasons I liked "Vengeance" is that it built up a Big Bad and made him hard to beat, so the threat of a powerful Immie was still there. However in the end, MacLeod wasn't necesarily the last - he had just achieved his personal mission.Connor must not win the prize, or finish the movie as the last immortal.
