I still think Cavill is wrong for the rule of Connor.
If I had a choice for Kurrigan, it would be The Undertaker.
Not sure who I would cast as Ramirez. Maybe Antonio Banderas?

Banderas would be a great choice, if indeed they're going with the character of Ramirez. He's ten years older than Connery was when he played the role, so he would that older/wisdom/gravitas aspect of being a mentor.

Won't happen, but cool casting choice, though.

IIRC Ramirez was a Egyptian with a Spanish name but actors in Highlander having no links to the countries their characters came from was all part of its charm.

Neither part is huge and both are told in those famous Highlander flashbacks. Heather's role is larger and I guess that's the one Karen G. will be playing. Both roles are Scots roles, and she's a Scot.

At this point in time I'm not expecting any of the characters to really reflect their role/size in the original. They might of course, but I have no expectations.

The non-Heather one is Connor's "first "girlfriend from before he's banished. A very small role in the original.
