You must be looking at different lists than the rest of us are, because in the ones I'm looking at (in all the links given upthread), Gone with the Wind wins the adjusted-for-inflation rankings, both domestically and internationally, by a country mile, by which I mean that your point has already been soundly refuted.
I'm looking at boxofficemojo unadjusted, the 2nd link given in the thread. And you're 100% missing my point which I laid out in my first post. Titanic or Gone with the wind, who cares, my whole point is that nobody can claim "Highest Grossing movie ever" in ANY of their marketing. Adjusted for inflation or not (I was using boxofficemojo unadjusted at first)
So the question posed in this thread makes no sense! And my point has NOT been soundly refuted since nobody has said what movies are claiming to be #1. since either Titanic or, if it makes you happy, Gone with the Wind. I'm still correct, in either situation.
