There was a commercial spot for the Lone Ranger. Focused quite a bit on him and not Johnny Depp. The movie could work in a sort of Sherlock Holmes way, but we'll have to see.

The visuals seem to be off. Depp has a bird on his head and bird shit all over his face. Does that really say "entertainment!" to anyone? Plus, I still remember Silver wearing a hat.

That's the problem I foresee. Like the Pirates sequels, I can imagine this movie containing an entertaining shorter movie hiding inside an overly long bloated wannabe epic.

Jerry Bruckheimer needs to start taking a Harvey Weinstein approach to his production!
