Hey, I never noticed that before....

Maurice was a quality poster.

At any rate, does anyone know the manufacturer of the lamp we saw on the bridge one time in The Cage?

Apparently, Kirk’s eye muscles aren’t affected by the Kelvin paralysis field.

Yeah. The dialogue says that the paralysis field neutralizes impulses to the voluntary muscles. Plenty of room for interpretation there. Uhura also blinks noticeably as Hanar reports the Enterprise's capture from her station.

And half the time, men are frozen in mid-point.

I get they wanted to make it look like they were all frozen in the middle of some kind of action, they make McCoy just totally not take it seriously and starts making comments to Spock instead of actually listening or being concerned about Rojan.

Actually he reminds me of my son as a child. He was a handful with ADHD, never paying attention and doing his own thing when we needed him to focus. So here, while other stuff was going on, Bones is making gun gestures at Spock whispering "T'Pau! T'Pau!"

Protest over a banned board member being briefly reinstated. Oddly, they kept actively posting on Twitter, which was reversing many more bans against users who'd been kicked out for similar reasons at the same time.
Interesting. Thank you for that info.

But, but, but…Spock and McCoy are frozen solid. Kirk must have very flexible eye muscles.
A nice side effect of being allergic to Retinax V is that your eyes remain flexible enough to be immune to paralysis fields. #NewHeadcanon
