Hey, I never noticed that before....

I just realized something…correct me if I’m wrong, but there were no humorous episodes in Season 3 as compared to Season 2 (Trouble With Tribbles, Piece Of The Action, I, Mudd, etc.)

‘For The World Is Hollow…’

Silly me…all these years of watching TOS and I never noticed the symbols on top of the Yonada guards’ hats. It looks like the Oracle with stars surrounding it or maybe it represents the Fabrini solar system. A nice touch by costume designer Bill Theiss.

I can't find a TNG edition of the title of this thread,

“Is There In Truth No Beauty”

It could be (?). Bill Blackburn gets walloped by Larry Marvick…

Then soon after it appears Bill is stationed on the bridge, just beyond where Kirk is standing.

‘Day of the Dove’

I guess they didn’t have enough Klingon soldiers. Watch the Klingon on the left. He’s holding Kirk…

Then he’s standing behind McCoy…

Then he’s still holding Kirk…

If it is the same guy it looks like they took the time to change his beard. The one behind McCoy has a vertical gap on his beard between his lower lip and chin while the one holding Kirk does not.

It’s the same Klingon. Kang only had 4 men beam down with him. 2 are holding Chekov down. 2 are holding Kirk. That leaves the same dude standing behind McCoy and holding Kirk at the same time :)

Each of the 4 Klingon foot soldiers has a unique hair do. The Klingon in question has a Spock type haircut with bangs. :)

I had to watch it again but I see it now. Yeah, the "Spock" Klingon was in two places at the same time. It must have been a camera-lighting thing where the beard gap wasn't as apparent in the part where he is restraining Kirk. :)
