Hey, I never noticed that before....

As I interpret this, Marple is following the order correctly: he is cutting around the rock that is to (on) his right.

But, but, but.....when Kirk is giving the order to him, Marple's left side is facing the rock. Now, if Kirk would have said "Cut around the rock on my right.", then maybe the redshirt would have been totally confused. Poor redshirts.

Mea culpa; I was only going from the screen shot in your earlier post.

No wonder I have no stripes on my sleeves!

The Booth for you. Full duration. :ack:

In "Journey to Babel" during the reception scene, there is a crystal centerpiece on the table, next to the punch bowl and color cubes. The platter of jems is flickering with light, like a flame. A subtle detail, but there is a steady flame like glow on the rock chow. (Was it edible?) Shows what effort went into the show.

I've seen that episode a hundred times and did not notice that detail until the second or third blu-ray viewing. Fascinating.

You must mean that gold colored bowl....

Great eyes! I just watched that scene and those crystals do blink. Another nice touch by special effects guru Jim Rugg.

I never noticed the gold bowl before, either. Those chunks of quartz could double as dilithium crystal props. The burnt one from "Mudd's Women" might even be in the bowl.

All I ever recall about that scene as a child was how scary The Andorians were! Especially 'Mr' Shras' Barlow'! and the fact that I was sure they were called Tellerites rather than Andorians! Couldn't remember what the the Piggy faced aliens were called either! Now as a long term fan I know the races inside out!

During the initial fight with the guards in "The World Is Hollow and I've Touched the Sky" Kirk kicks one of them in the face and they guys hat comically shoots up into the air.

In the initial fight between good and evil in "The Savage Curtain" look carefully in the background.
President Lincoln is kicking ass and taking names!!!

Private Little War......Dr. M'Benga starts slapping Spock. After four or five slaps Spock grabs M'Benga's hand, except he grabs it after his hand passes Spock's face. No slap or sound effect, meaning M'Benga kind of missed.
