Hey, I never noticed that before....

The Queen joined Starfleet?

Shouldn't she be in Command colors?

The Royal family is rather Vulcan, though. This brings to mind a parallel universe of a rather British Star Trek.

Speaking of the bespectacled technician, is this the only time we see a Human wearing a pair of glasses in Star Trek? Aside from Jim Kirk in The Wrath of Khan.

Not a visual but it has dawned on me that everyone who commands a Constitution class ship seems to be a commodore, except Kirk. The man saves the universe every week, and you can't spring for a promotion?

The Exeter, Excalibur and Farragut were all commanded by Captains (Tracey, Harris and Garrovick, respectively).

Well, playing Devil's Advocate, we don't exactly know what the ranks were of the individuals who captained the Excalibur and the Farragut. Captain might refer to their positions, not their ranks.

^ In all instances where a Commodore commanded a starship, they were referred to by rank, so most likely those others were as well.

Just saw Friday's Child... K S and McC enter the new leader's tent, and Nimoy is standing uncomfortably close to the fire. I noticed how close he was and wondered, then I saw Nimoy put his hands behind his back, which got them a bit farther away, then he very briefly turned and looked right at the fire for a moment, while the others were talking.

The moment Shatner stepped forward to make some point with the leader, Nimoy took advantage of that, to step forward a half step himself... away from the fire.

Can we mention the movies in here, too?

Was rewatching TWOK (again!) last night, and I think this is the first time I noticed that "Commander" Kyle is actually wearing a Lieutenant J.G. sleeve device... lower than his rank in TOS!

(Sorry if this has been mentioned before... the thread is 60 pages long and I forget a lot of what's come previously! ;))

Never noticed the bandage on the hand on the hand of the helmsman and the bandage on the neck of the crewman before in the pilot episode The Cage.
