He's Dead, Jim.

number6

Vice Admiral
How many times does McCoy say this over the course of the series?

Apparently De Kelley joked that he was going to put it on his tombstone.

Does anyone know if this actually happened?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I can't do this youtube at work and I'm trying to figure out how I can watch videos on my Voyager phone...so if anyone knows PM me please because I do think there is a way.

I have no idea how often McCoy said he's dead Jim...I know this is lame...and possibly a little embarrassing but if I can't say it here then where can I? I was thinking that over the summer that I'd do my own little Star Trek database to compile data such as this. I keep saying I'm going to do this but I haven't started yet....but if I did do it then I'd be able to say McCoy said it 24 times and in these episodes....I know I have ambition and goals right?! !! LOL :guffaw:

I say go for it!

Actually, he was afraid of it happening.
But then he was cremated, and his ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean, so... I guess no tombstone.

I think that was one of the things tallied during G4's run of TOS, when they had the "Spock Market" game going.

I just tried to look, but G4 no longer has the final numbers available.

DeForrest Kelley really said, that he said "He's dead Jim" so many times, that it would be written on his head stone.
He said that sometime in the 1990s. I saw it on video. And it made me laugh :)
