Heroes virgin

I just bought the first season of Heroes. I've only seen 2 episodes, so I consider it all new to me. I'm looking forward to experiencing this show from start to finish. And I won't have to wait through commercials, or until next week's episode. No spoilers, guys, but I'm pretty excited.

Season one was great. Enjoy the season!

Sadly the later seasons aren't as good.

S1 is great, and now at the end of S3 the show's getting back on its feet. S2-3 are still worthwhile if you don't mind illogic, highly variable characterization and plots to nowhere. :rommie: I still find it very watchable just for the characters alone.

Watch season one, then season two. Then skip Villains and you can pretend that certain unfortunate incidents that ruined the show didn't happen.

Villains starts off so well though, while Season 2 is a bit of a snoozefest.

I can't think of any other way to avoid the trauma. Unfortunately, sometimes removing the affected body part is the only way to prevent the cancer from spreading.

At least that way you can pretend that...

...Peter and Hiro just aren't using their powers because they're dumb and not because Arthur took them away. Which actually isn't too far from the truth, Peter and Hiro are dumb enough not to ask why their powers don't work the way they used to.

Congrats! The first season of Heroes is one of the best seasons of any television series, ever. May I suggest something? Watch that season and when it comes to the end, just pretend that was all there ever was. You'll walk away with memories of the most fantastic show you ever saw, and you'll only see the high points.

QFT.

It's one long mini-series for me...

The rest was some nightmare.

I just finished watching the episode: Better Halves.
All I can say is DAMN! I had to force myself not to put in the next episode so I can spend time with my kids and be a father.
Buying that season on DVD was $20 well spent.

I had to look up Better Halves to remind me what it was about - hmm, pretty much just a connect-the-dots episode. Honestly I found the Sanders family stuff pretty boring. Stay tuned, big things are about to happen. After this episode was when the season really took off.

Frankly even the 1st season isn't that great. Its good, but its hardly great.

But it did show potential, potential that was unfortunately never reached....
