HEROES Cancelled!

for a while, i was hearing that HEROES would get a 5th season to wrap things up. but no. it is official. HEROES has been cancelled. :(

Eh, well it can still be discussed here as well, can't it?

I followed Heroes religiously during season 1, but completely lost track during season 2... got it on DVD when season 3 aired but was too busy with my social life to watch ... and haven't really ever caught up since. I've seen the odd episode here and there, mostly when I remember to check and see if my friend the aspiring actress is in a a particular episode... but otherwise, I'll just watch it on Netflix.

Too bad though. Season one was pretty fantastic, and whilst viewed on DVD, season two wasn't as God awful as some made it out to be.

Aww now what will Zachary do now

I'm very disappointed that Heroes got axed Zachary Quinto was amazing I wonder what the cast think of the news
He's a pro. He'll have another gig in no time.

BTW, startrekrcks-startrekk-chriskirkgeek-jamestkirkfan-trekprincess, you should use the "Edit" button instead of posting two posts in a row in a thread. That's considered spamming. I know you're a stickler for forum etiquette.

I read he got casted in a new movie called Margin Call.

That sounds like a good movie. I wonder if the Gershwin biopic he was supposed to star in is dead? Quinto will probably stick with movies now, but I'd love to see him back on TV, as long as it was an interesting show and not some dumb cop show or lawyer show.

Well then he can't do space opera either. But that's okay, he should star as Barnabas Collins in a reboot of Dark Shadows!

He aught to do some guest appearances on some of those crime shows, such as The Mentalist. and i wonder if he could pull off a sitcom?

i had a thought the other day: if Heroes might get picked up by Syfy, if thats even an option. i know they picked up Merlin when NBC cut it.

Merlin's produced in the UK and skiffy doesn't have to pay for production, so they probably get it cheap. Heroes would be way beyond what skiffy could afford to produce.

it is a what if scenario but I don't think another network would want a show that failed in it's ratings and appeal in it's last couple of seasons
