Ah that sounds like they're Trying To Hard. The secret to hoyay is that the audience shouldn't know that you know what you're doing, or at least it shouldn't be blatant.

Awwww, Temis, you didn't even check out my link with the scene. :( It sounds blatant, but it made sense in the context of the lack of trust between the brothers that's been growing since Dean was delivered from hell; the brothers meant what they said--the siren just made them tell the truth. If Heroes had scripted one knock down drag out fight like that between Peter and Nathan after Peter SHOT HIM last season the last volume would have been the better for it. Characters are being twisted to fit the plot instead of the plotlines making sense in terms of the characters. Nathan ignoring the fact that Peter shot with the intent to kill (and the dumb writers never addressing exactly how Nathan lived :scream:) made me insane. No such avoidance with the Winchester. Dean threw a BIG ass butcher knife at baby brother after Sam mocked Dean's confession about his time in hell.

You're too busy whining about the souls you tortured in hell. Boo hoo.

Then the butcher knife went FLYING across the room at Sam's head. You gotta appreciate that brotherly love. :guffaw: All Peter and Nathan do is bitch at each other anymore. They need to clear the air. Maybe Nathan can throw some scissors across the room at Peter and scream at him to do something about his hair.

And since when does stupidity neutralize sexy? Poor John Sheppard, nobody told him that!

Jonathan Archer. The only role in which Scott Bakula didn't come across dead sexy. Why? Because the character was scripted as stupid. :(

Hey, don't make fun of Stupid people!

Besides, it was illegal to cure Archer of the his genetic predisposition to Clarke's disease which was going to transform him into a dribbling screaming mass of paranoia and ranting. I must wonder what were the early signals that he was becoming completely doolally on top of being remedially disintelligent?

Brannon and Manny now work for 24. I was noticing that Manny got higher billing over Brannon in the credits yesterday. I guess it's clear who wears the pants. But when you say dumboff, why am I thinking Theatre Sports like that Drew Carey show "Whose line is it Anyway?"

The writers of the Hills vs the writers of Howie Do it, too.

Braga writing 24? So what, does each episode repeat a variation on the SAME hour while Jack has to figure out how to break the time loop?

The number 47 and the words "Out of phase" (talking about a botchy computer network) were both used in the first episode of the 7th season which aired a month or two back.

I think the writer of this ep - according to somebody on another site - has just been canned - is this the start of another writers culling on Heroes?

I stopped watching 24 after the fifth or so episode this year when I realized it was just the Same Old Shit...so you're onto something?

Link? I thought I saw three writers credited - at least some of those names seem familiar from S1.

Seeing as you asked me so politely Termis! Not very good with computers not sure how to post links but this is the site I found it on.

Wow, if you thought that was rude, you must be extraordinarily thin-skinned! :rommie:

Links are easy. Like this:

This is a link.

:)

Anyways thanks for the link. I love gossip.

But when the same old shit is Jack Bauer screaming at people, shooting at people, and torturing people over the course of one day, is it really that bad?

I love watching 24, but I'll admit that continuing past season 2 was pretty much pointless.

They seem to be grooming some new action girl (mid thirties) to star in a spin off if Sutherland decides he too is null and bored by the whole merry go round.

Eris quod sum, eh?

So why isn't Marvel suing these TV People, since the current plot line is obviously the superhero registration act being spearheaded by Stark the Deushbag who's willing to sell his own kid(Freudian slip there, meant to type "kind" but I seem to always be thinking about Claire.) down the river for a little more power. I mean you can almost see how Stark got where he got, but Nathans shift of priorities make no sense unless you assume that he's just a carbon copy of the modern age's cunt Tony Stark. It's seriously like copying someone else's essay over their shoulder during an exam.

Thanks for the link Termis! Sorry I'm England it was 5a.m. and I was a bit grumpy - I also forgot to put one of those smiley things after it!

Nathan's actions do make some sense. Between nuclear men who can't control themselves and invulnerable dictators who just like to throw their weight around, there are some inherent dangers to this superpower thing. And it makes some sense to concentrate them all together, in some sort of camp, so that it is easier to keep an eye on them while he attempts to implement some sort of solution that has finality.
