I've been wracking my brain trying to remember the title of an old superhero-type story I remember seeing on TV in the early 90s. I don't remember much: the plot involved some individuals trying to find a group of men who once possessed amazing superpowers but now had grown old and feeble. One had "breath like a tornado". Another once possessed superhuman hearing but now had to use an ear trumpet to hear.
I also don't remember if it was a TV broadcast of a movie, a TV special or an episode of a show. Does this sound familiar to anybody? I'd appreciate any help.
