Like a good salami.
Wait ... that came out wrong.
I can only suggest brands and types of Italian coffee, which could be seen as the "nuclear option" of coffee tasting (as one small cup of that has as much taste and caffeine as a couple of "American" coffee mugs), so I don't think I can be very helpful here.
But I live on the stuff, so I cannot help but recommend at least a try of Illy brand with half a teaspoon of sugar and no cream.

BUT... sorry to say... your mind does dwell on its origins...
For all that, very recommended.
Caffeine pill? Have you not seen that Saved By The Bell episode? I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so ... scared!

No, actually it's quite accurate.![]()

Well, I thought I had successfully purged it from my memory before you went ahead and reminded me of it. Thanks a lot.![]()
Funny fact: the term "morbid obesity" was coined 18 months after the introduction of Coca Cola![]()
It seems to me that you simply don't like coffee and should find an alternate caffeine delivery mechanism.I really can't stand the stuff, but I want to start drinking it. Caffeine purposes, mostly. I tried once back in college but I couldn't cut it. I've had friends tell me that I just need to try the right coffee, but I have no idea what that is.
I bought something from Dunkin Donuts today and it tasted as vile as every other coffee I've had. It's now approximately 50% sugar by volume and I can barely tolerate it. I know it's an acquired taste, but I was wondering if there's anything specific I should be trying.
Any suggestions of where I should try coffee from, what types, etc would help. We have a coffee machine thing at home that I got for my husband but it uses those pods so I'm not sure what choices are available there.
I'm also a bit wary that I might not be able to tolerate something with an insanely high amount of caffeine, as I've sometimes gotten ill after drinking coffee out (especially from Borders).
I know what you mean! We first heard about it when a cafe in Townsville QLD was charging AU$50/ cup!And there is another option. My son once bought me some Kopi Luwak, comes in a vacuum pack, can be made in an espresso machine or a French press. And it is not at all bitter. Very mild in fact:

Yeah, especially if she wants to spend $50/pound on coffee that she might not even like.![]()
Nobody outside of Rhode Island should have to drink that. It's like ruining good coffee (or milk, depending on your perspective) with an additive. Much like how in New York they put ketchup in their clam chowder.Have you tried coffee-flavoured milk? That might be a starting point, then moving on to hot milk drinks like cappucinos and the like.
Wow, life is so simple! My advice would be to stop pulling long hours and get some sleep then.
