Help me get TNG back on TV!

I don't think it looks dated, it's just the picture quality.

Exactly. My DVD's look just fine on my TV. Of course, my DVD recorder upscales the picture, as does the TV, so I'm sure this helps.

While it looks a little grainy, I think the quality on DVD has held up quite well for being a 25 year old series.

To make the long story short, I'm about to start a campaign to get the CW Television network to air Star Trek: The Next Generation for another few years or so. I am following some advice I've found across the 'net about getting cancelled shows back on the air and whatnot and am writing a letter to the executive producer. That's my first step. But I can't do this alone. I'm going to need an ARMY of people wanting it back on TV. I've only got one other person, a friend of mine, who is also interested in getting TNG back on TV. Because the more people that show interest the higher the likeliness of it coming back on TV.

So whoelse is with me?

*sighs* I miss having to get up at 2:50 in the morning to catch my early morning dose of Star Trek: TNG at 3. I also wish that CW would air Star Trek: Generations again too!

Why bother? Get up an appetite for the blurays coming out this year...they'll never look better.

Here's a problem that nobody has yet addressed: the CW does programming for young females. TNG, like space opera in general, skews male. So why should the CW bother to air a series that is off-target for them?

The solution is Netflix. Nothing in life is free, but Netflix is damn cheap.
