Help me find a song

Yeah, I've been doing my best to find this song and I've had no luck. It's an alternative rock song with a female singer that plays on the local (Philly) Alternative station. Every time I here it, I try to remember as many words as I can and end up striking out for a search.

First I thought I heard "Can you shake it" (later it sounded like "shape me"). I also thought I heard "Crash....I'm your last laugh". Even with that, I've had no luck. Female singer. Pretty cool riff at the beginning that would pause for a drum fill before the vocals kick in. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

I figure this is a long shot, but can anyone help me?
