Help: I'm looking for a multi-disc Blu-Ray player

Hi. I'm in the market to buy a multi-disc Blu-Ray player. I'm thinking 4 or 5 discs is a good number. Any advice on what to buy and where to buy it? When I try to search online, I keep getting long lists of "multi-region" single disc players, and other items even less like what I'm looking for, so help is needed.

I see a Sony unit on Amazon that holds 400 BR discs.

From other sites, I gather that the concept of a unit that could hold a handful of discs and switch between them simply never took off with the blu-ray format.

I was afraid of that. That's what my preliminary research showed too. But to be fair, only one of my four shows I'm watching on DVD is on Blu-Ray DVDs. Can you play a Blu-Ray on a non-Blu-Ray DVD player? Maybe I'm best off buying a 5-disc DVD player that doesn't have a special Blu-Ray function.

Apropos of nothing, but I have heard it said that DVD game devices make the best CD players—there are audio DVDs, so I’ve heard.

Yeah, the blu-ray format uses a different kind of laser.
So a blu-ray player can read blu-ray discs and is also made to be backwards compatible to read regular DVDs (and CDs), but a DVD player can't read blu-ray discs.
