It has changed over the years but I think I settled on B'Elanna Torres. Barge of the Dead is a great underrated episode. Faces was creepy and Remember is so sad.

I really have a tough time picking a favorite. Janeway, when she was written well, but Seven is awesome too. Least favorite is easy, Neelix, who for unfathomable reasons got the best send off from the show.

In terms of character I could relate to, Tuvok or Seven.

In terms of character I could look up to, Janeway.

In terms of character dynamic interplay: Tuvok with Neelix.

Addendum: Also adding "Janeway and Seven." to "In terms of character dynamic interplay", which is some of the best in the franchise and I've got the short-term memory of a gerbil because I can't remember the original comparison...

I'd add on the EMH. Beyond those three, the rest were really disposable.

Apart from when he apes lines like "I'm a Doctor not a ____" he's got genuinely good stuff. Especially in "Living Witness" where he is in the most unique of positions, written to great effect.

Since he is a repository of great medical knowledge and practioners, I tend to think it fits since it is a Star Trek show and he is Federation technology.

I like them all. I choose Seven because when she got on the show it's took on a whole new dimension and actually improved the show. The same way when Worf came on DS9. The Doctor is probably on equal footing here. I liked him just as much. Both characters complimented each other well.

Seven.

For once, there's someone in Star Trek who thinks and behaves like ME.

She's not perfect. She's not holier-than-Thou. She's made mistakes. She doesn't always do the right thing. She has a long history of doing some VERY bad things.

She's the closest thing to a living, breathing human being in the entire franchise.

Definitely Tom. And I looooove "Threshold."
Doc stars in a lot of my fave episodes though. I also like Chuckles when he's butting heads with other crew members, like in "Scorpion" and "Equinox"

Whole lotta Harry Kim edge play goin' on here. But really, "Prophecy" reminds us that it's Neelix who's got the kinky side.

That kitchenrat can't ask you to put cigarettes out on his chest, without some worry that his entire torso will blaze out.
