In the preseries publicity shorts they had one going on about how they got the period weapons right. Now when the 1966/7 US Cavalry shows up they are all armed with Henry Rifles as if they were rich men or private gunslingers oh well.

Well accuracy is not one of their strong suits. In the episode where the brave was racing his horse against the steam locomotive, they cut to shot of the horse's feet, viewed from behind. The horse was shod which is not accurate at all. Indian ponies would have been unshod.

Tom Noonan is incapable of playing anyone who isn't a creep.

I like Bohannen beating the "Swede" down, and the Swede's obsession with trying to bring him to "justice".

What happened to the Irish lads and their slide show? Not that I care that much, they weren't particularly interesting.

Hooker is a getting a bit tiresome, too. "Hey, I'm trashy but I good heart...and I know about Indian stuff, also blowing carpenters."

Yeah, couldn't really buy that one. Not only did he survive taking a bulled through his mouth, but he was able to walk all the way back to camp after , what, two or three days? With no water? I don't think so. *shrug* Whatever.

I also find it unlikely that the widow could live in that camp for very long without being assaulted.

Still, I'm really enjoying this show so far. Looks like the Swede (er...Norwegian) will get his comeuppance soon.
