This a very well done and funny episode tonight. Ther were a lot of funny moments and good character work. Bobby's zipper song was great and Dale is an unidentified special needs kid. Can't believe that Principal Moss ended up the way he did, but it is Karma for all his asshatedness and what he did at Alamo Land.
Do we have an Alamo Land here? If not, it sounds like something we would have.

That was a pretty good episode..as for Principal Moss I take it he'll be back after his suspension though he should be canned for good after that stunt.
Plus KOTH is going to start airing on Adult Swim?..I don't know it dosen't seem like the right place for it..it's like airing Little house on the Prairie on the Playboy channel.

I have to say, this was solid all the way through. It was just a flat out good episode, shades of Sheriff Taylor almost.
Now if KOTH was moving to Adult Swim in 2001, that might have been a good fit, but not today's adult swim. I"m afraid I'm going to see those bumps just ripping it apart, and it will probably be like their experimenting with airing Saved By the Bell and Pee Wee's Playhouse. It's just not stoner enough for AS.
Comedy Central would be a better fit. They could pair it up with Futurama, and bring back The Critic, and make a decent animation block.

The cast celebrated their last episode. They'll still be running this through September 2010 though. I"m hoping for a Beavis and Butthead cameo in there somewhere. Maybe Prinipal McVickers will come and fill in for Principal Moss.

I'm just glad The Cleveland Show has been pushed back to the fall 2009 season - it means that it can't push KOTH out of the schedule until then 
Although I wonder how set in stone this 2010 date is - depending on how many episodes are left, I could see Fox showing Season 13 as normal, and then showing the last lot of episodes on during the summer to get them out of the way...

As long as they show them, it's fine with me. FX won't be carrying the repeats anymore, so they will just be on AS, I don't know about the syndication of it though.

Had some good moments with Hank figuring out his new HD Flatscreen TV. Not Bad, another Bill gets used episode.
'No Bobby...' was great. It was terrific to see one of the regular highly-placed idiots (Moss) finally face the consequences. I hope that happens to Buck before all is done.
As to 11/16. welll, Bill's life gets one more step pathetic. Huge surprise there. Also, apologies to MJ, HD flats are not these trendy monsters. Still, funnier than not.

my sentiments exactly, just an overall well done episode that carried strong all the way through without letting up. One of those episodes that had an The Andy Griffith Show feel to it. Oh man, is karma going to have something big planned for Buck strickland.
When Bobby gave Hank the letter informing him that Bobby was now "Special needs," I recognized Hank's "Someone is about to get their ass kicked." face. I love how Moss ran from Hank when he saw him at school.
But at the end of the episode he was still the center of attention with all his bankruptcy advice, which is where he wanted all along.

I don't know man, I still have a lot of trouble figuring out this wave of new technology, so a guy like Hank is bound to be overwhelmed.

Only if Hank refuses to pull him out. I was glad to see Hank's attitude evolve from awkward worship to 'need to keep our jobs' as concerns bailing Buck out. But when the time is right, he needs to let him fall hard.

One prob for me : A souped-up surround is not right for a space like the Hill's have; nor is a TV above 40 or so. Mine is a 40 Sony XBR, my sound system is a two-speaker subwoofer system 1-2-3 made by Bose. Peggy was (surprise) a poor shopper in this regard. A 'shake-the-rafters' system is for a large living room with some distance to be had.
Well it's probably safer now since Luanne and Lucky have their own house.
I'm still surprised that over-babying Peggy didn't still poo-poo the idea since Luanne could still come over.
SG, your comment about Buck's karma makes me want to use this thread to offer up our fan-spec on the final fates of our Arlen characters. I'll start :
Hank : Mayor Of Arlen and owner of Hill's Propane and Accessories. Deliberately refuses to rise any further since it would mean bringing Dale and Bill within the corridors of real power. (Ann Richards got over Bill)
Peggy : Lost in Mexico for six months; Comes back actually knowing Spanish. Becomes Bi-Lingual Boggle Champ.
Bobby : Marries Connie; She intro's Hank to high-tech communications, because, despite Bobby's maturity, they still need to be ready for his next display of Peggy and Cotton's genes.
Khan/Minh - Give up entirely and become rednecks.
Bill - Becomes a successful, admired counselor for returning vets and others; Dale, broken by the news of Joseph's parentage, is one of his best customers and now resembles Bill as he once was.
Joseph - Despite the best efforts of everyone, elopes with Kate and escapes efforts to contact them; No one ever told them the plain truth til it was too late. It is an enraged John R who finally tells Dale. Bobby may know where the couple is, but is afraid that, even if he convinces them of the truth, they may not part company, and that's too icky for him to handle.
Boomhauer - Talk Radio/TV man supreme. Beloved by people of all persuasions, who each draw what they need from his words, which seem to speak to everyone.

Hank, I don't know about being mayor, But I can see him with his own Propane dealership. Somehow he finds himself coaching the Dallas Cowboys and brings back the Flex Defense.
Peggy could go back to school after Bobby graduates High School, and rediscovers her love for teaching and finally goes full time.
Bobby, the Boy is finally right. Becomes a very successful comedy writer, creates a hit TV show with a main character based on Hank.
Kahn and Minh finally become members of Nine Rivers country club only after it is opened to the public. Connie goes on to college and has a modest music career in a symphony, keeps in touch with Bobby.
Bill will eventually pass away due to his own lifestyle. At the funeral, we discover that Bill had more friends than we ever thought he did.
Dale will discover an actual conspiracy, and write a successful book about it. it will be his only contribution to mankind as his sophomore book misses the mark. Nancy retires from the news desk and finds a job as a news director. It doesn't go well.
Boomhauer decides to walk the Earth like Kane from Kung Fu spreading wisdom.
Joseph goes crazy without an outlet for his weird urges, then goes into counseling.
Luanne and Lucky, despite the stagnant pond water that is their gene pool, bring a child prodigy into the world.
John Redcorn leaves his land to Joseph. He tells Joseph he is is father, but asks that he not tell Dale.
Buck Strickland, either murdered by his mistress or massive heart attack.

Hey Propaniacs, Well Jack Bauer comandeered the lineup last Sunday. But we're back this week with another new adventure.
It looks like Bobby is trying to Be Prepared this Sunday as he gives the Order of the Straight Arrow another chance.
Notes: The last time we saw Bobby as a member of the Order of the Straight Arrow was in Episode 3 of the first season titled "The Order of the Straight Arrow"

I guess just like as he was on the football and baseball teams in the beginning of the show his aversion to being physically active took over and he quit.
Bobby still does Little League. He was on the team in that episode where Ladybird was going deaf.

I really loved that episode. That is one I could really relate too, I was in scouts and the Order of the Arrow. One weekend our troop was camping and some of us Scoutmasters were talking about it while cooking. Our Scoutmaster said that whomever wrote that must have gotten kicked out of OA, because they had some pretty good details in there. At the time I didn't know that Mike Judge was in fact an Eagle Scout.

First seasons are often oddballs for characters. MASH's Frank Burns was much more human in the first season, even joking around with the other officers and successfully getting Hawkeye with a string of practical jokes.
Little House's Harriet Olsen actually admitted to being difficult, and Ted Baxter on MTM was merely a bit stuffy and prim at first.
Still, some sort of rebirth for decently-smart Luanne would be welcomed before KOTH leaves us.
