He puts the GRRRR in Schwinger Baby!!!!

They've played out all of the jokes. The sequels really forgot why the first one was funny.

Now, if they can come up with something original (that is not pointless toilet humor,) then I'll happily see another. Not really optimistic though. My guess is, we'll see another twenty minutes of Fat Bastard describing his crap.

Agred 100%. The sequels were funny but lost the 60s Bondian Spymovie spoof that made the first one great.

The only good part of the sequels, really, is the opening of the third. That was brilliant. The rest, however? Leaves something to be desired...

You know Mike's new movie, 'The Guru?'

I saw the trailer and I thought "Wow! It's like the found a really funny, forgotten movie from 1998! It would have been huge back then!"

Unfortunately it's not 1998 anymore. It was kind of a :wtf: to see the trailer.

This news is like that, but x20.

(And for the record, I like all 3 Powers films.)

I just watched that trailer. Looks intertesting and, yeah, very 1998. But honestly, I think I'd enjoy a little bit of a "1998" feeling right now.

Well, it's tricky. If this HAD come out back then and I just discovered it at Blockbuster I'd be all over it!

But the fact that it's new and coming to theaters... It's kind of like, "what are you thinking, man?"

I feel bad saying all this. But it's how I'm feeling.

Are you talking about The Love Guru, with Myers, Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake? I'm looking forward to that one. I thought the trailer was very funny; I can't think of many comedians who deliver their lines as well as Myers.

Is this the trailer you were talking about?

Besides casting Vern Troyer this movie has a very austin powers cast and crew feel. Myer's even make a similar mole joke when looking at the hockey coach(Troyer)

I don't normally see Comedies in theaters, but the trailer for "Guru" looks funny. I might see it. Austin Powers 4? About time if its funny! :)

Hopefully, Meyers will hire somebody to actually write a script this time.

After the first movie, he bragged how during filming the sequels they 'just made it all up as they went along'.......and it showed.

Outside of the cameos at the beginning and the silhouette sequence, the third one was rather dull. And making his father exactly the same as him didn't help.

The first "Austin Powers" film was classic. The second was still entertaining but not quite as original. Everything seemed old and played out by the time the third film arrived. Do we really need a 4th? Most definitely not. But I guess Mike Myers needs something to do?
