Okay, I know, it's dreadful reality TV but go George Takei for getting to the final of Britains "I'm a Celebrity".
I do hope other people have been watching?!
Reality Shows are for people that can't handle fantasy. As for Takei, I could care less what he does.
Takei is awesome. He really has reveled himself to be an honest, kind, well humored person these last couple of years on Stern. I love that guy now waaaay more than I ever did just from Trek.
He's made the final.

George was robbed. But the video of him eating a kangaroo penis is a guaranteed YouTube hit, so he's the real winner.
Totally agree with that.
Reality TV is just a bit of fun and I admire anyone that could deal with the creepy crawlies (and that's just the other celebs), being locked in the dark, and jumping from Mini to mini. Won't mean a thing to those who haven't watched it but I think it's a fascinating psychological study of how people react when they are taken out of their comfort zone. Some excell, George, Joe and Martina and some crack!
They get 3 weeks holiday in Australia. In a small camp with hammocks, a dunny and open shower facilities. But in order to win you undertake tasks: being shut in with snakes, ants, cockroaches,etc. Climbing tall things and not falling off. Eating 'bush tucker' see previous references to penises and refusing to give up your mascara to save others! It really shows peoples true character
Fantastic! I was so happy for the three people in the final (George Takei, Martina Navratilova and Joe Swash), they were exactly the ones I would have picked to win, they were the best apples in the bunch. 
I'm so happy that George still has so many fans, and I'm sure this show will contribute to many more people getting interested in him and his work.
He proved to be such a true gentleman, polite, funny, easy-going, a pleasure to be around for them and for me to watch.
