HBO's "Westworld", starring Anthony Hopkins/produced by J.J. Abrams

Yes, really enjoyed the season premiere.

Aaron Paul is going to work well this season. He is such a accomplished actor. Totally bought him as a guy trying to reshape his life while taking psych treatment, and crimeing leads from mobile apps. I thought Ash’s henchman looked and sounded familiar. It was Beast Mode, former Raider, Marshon Lynch.

Love the near future world. The self driving cars and bikes are probably only 10 to 15 years away. I watched the shot of Delores’ wardrobe magic a few times and it still don’t look like CGI.

Delores is such a badass. So she takes that guy’s money and now she’s after her boyfriend’s company.

Bernard has apparently been framed for the murders at Westworld, but as a human. So, sounds like Delos was able to cover up the fact that their hosts rebelled. Guess that was obvious since Hale ordered hosts to be rebuilt.

Team Maeve, here. The Samurai episodes were my favorites of season 2. Anxious to see her in Naziworld. She’s still self aware so even though she may not have hr powers, she is still far ahead of the game.

IE, once you realize the multiple timeline thing the novelty wears off and the story isn't much more than a "Robot Rebellion" plot.
The robot rebellion isn’t the point of the story. It’s about consciousness, human and machine, showing how humans aren’t really that different from the hosts and may be even simpler than them. There is dialogue between the action scenes and they’re pretty important to the show, they’re the entire point of the show. The robot revolution is just the glossy surface.

Bernard being framed by Host Charlotte is pretty clearly part of Dolores having rebuilt him (Bernard) solely to serve as an opposing force for her (Dolores).

Four of the Pearls Charlores took with her out of the park would likely have had to have been collected at some point in the 12-hour period between when the real Charlotte killed Elsie and when Bernard was found by Karl Strand's extraction team, but since we never really saw a full documentation of that time period, we don't know how much time it actually took Bernard to re-access the flooding or flooded Forge, retrieve her Pearl, upload the Sublime data onto her father's Pearl and hide it inside her original body, and then build her new Charlotte body and bring her back online.

I love how they downplayed the massacre at the park. "Oh, they were just staff and board members, nothing important".

Yes, but I remember guests killed too.

I’d expect the host who slept with Logan in the investor meeting is among them as she exploded nearby to the control room and was already loyal to her. And something about the way he was talking reminded me of Lawrence.

^ Angela blew herself up in the Cradle, and we don't know what the condition of the room was afterwards, so there might not have been anything left of her or her Pearl.

Those pearls can survive point blank gunshots and being burned to ashes. A little grenade won’t hurt them.

And the cradle is exactly where she was alone with the opportunity to do whatever she wants.

We saw guests held as prisoners, but I don't think many were killed in the massacre. In fact, did any host other than Delores take revenge on guests who'd tormented them?

It was pretty good. Hopefully Aaron isn’t just used by that defective machine, Dolores. Poor guy has already been through that.

@JirinPanthosa Bernard retrieved Dolores' Pearl from The Forge and more than likely built her new Charlotte Hale body in Cold Storage (which is in the bowels of the Mesa), so she would have had to have made a trip back to The Cradle to get Angela's Pearl after she shot the real Charlotte.

Ahh, I was mixing up the Cradle and Forge.

It’s not clear how much time she had, and it has to be hosts not killed at the Door because they were still washing up on shore. Where was she when they discovered the extra Bernard bodies?

Dolores was the only one killing guests out of personal choice, many were killing guests following their narratives.

The only real exception is the Ghost Nation we were just trying to save all the hosts they could and get to the Door.

So, listening closely to the MC at the party, the Rehoboam strategy engine is responsible for having averted the "climate catastrophe."

Now that we have the context of having seen INCITE in episode one, thought I'd repost this...
