I ain't going to lie: I kinda rather watch the romance comedy.

There are 4 trailers now, apparently. One is cut to make season 3 look like a rom-com with 35% more romance.

My theory on Aaron Paul's character is that he is convinced that he is as enslaved as the robots, bound to a certain role in life and destined to live out his loops, unable to be free of them. He'll feel that siding with the revolution might be his only act of free will left.
That would fit what we've seen of them in the trailers so far.

Is nobody going to help clarify the Dolores/Arnold's gun thing for me?
Per the Wiki:
  • In the Hub, Elsie investigates Maeve and is appalled at the bad job done to her personality and resets Maeve, clearing her to return to rotation.[11]
  • Returned to the Mariposa, Maeve successfully charms a client proving Elsie's adjustments to be on track. Maeve talks with Teddy Flood when a guest begins shooting up the saloon, killing them both.[11]
  • In the Hub, Maeve wakes up while being cleaned and repaired by Sylvester and Felix Lutz.[11]
  • At the Abernathy Ranch, Dolores is compelled to go to a certain spot where she digs up a gun.[11]
  • Lee Sizemore presents his new narrative; "Odyssey on Red River." Robert Ford dismisses the narrative and begins work on his own narrative that includes building on the site of Escalante.[11]
  • Maeve, awake and aware, escapes the examination room and wanders the facility in shock, eventually finding a room where the damaged hosts are stored and repaired, including Teddy still with the gunshot wounds she saw him receive. Confused, Maeve is eventually recaptured by the technicians who manage to hide the fact that she was awake.[11]
  • At the Abernathy Ranch, Dolores Abernathy discovers the gun in her dresser and seems shocked at its presence. This triggers a flashback to be dragged into the barn by the Man in Black. When she looks in the drawer again, the gun in missing.
  • Bernard Lowe and Elsie Hughes discover that the hosts killed by the malfunctioning Walter had all killed him in the past, indicating that he was remembering their previous interactions and "holding a grudge."[4]

^ That's not really helpful... especially since that article is both out-of-date and inaccurate.

As an example of its inaccuracy, it says that the gun Dolores shoots Rebus with is the gun that was in her dresser when it's not; it's actually Rebus' own firearm that she steals off his gunbelt.

HBO has revealed that the premiere will be 1 hour and 8 minutes long.
They also revealed new character posters for Dolores, Caleb, William, Bernard, Charlotte, and Maeve. They aren't on the posters, but according to the article new tag lines were also included when the posters were originally posted in pairs.
Dolores & Caleb: The real gods are coming
William & Bernard: Welcome to the end of the game
Charlotte & Maeve: You're not the only predator here

I like that on second viewing you notice new little things.

Like, on the Indian instruments they are playing Seven Nation Army.

And, hey, that’s the actress from Evil!

She's William's daughter, right?

Yes.

I’m curious how they convince Maeve to be on the human side. She tends to be neutral to human survival. I guess a human she previously considered bad gave his life for her. But her attitude has been she doesn’t care if humans live or die as long as they stay out of her way.

I'm thinking it's a personal thing, not about siding with the humans against the other androids. We see her meeting with a new character, so I'm thinking he probably has something she wants. I can't remember was all of the stuff with her daughter tied up last season? Because she had been a big motivating factor up to this point, and I could definitely see her working against Dolores and co. if it involved her.

You don't know what a review is?
I'm pretty sure I've seen in comment on reviews in the past.
