Starting a new thread because its a new season and I smiled at the name drop in the latest episode

The Inspector from San Francisco mention working with two dectectives: Stone and Keller, the names of the characters Karl Malden and Michael Douglas played on "The Streets of San Francisco".

Why don't Adam and Kono have a code word/phrase for situations like last nights?

"Kono, how about dinner at Mr. Chang's?"

"Adam's in trouble!"

"How do you know, Kono?"

"He said 'dinner at Mr. Chang's' that's our code word for being kidnapped! Or you know, for us, a typical Friday night."

How about they just let the Yakuza have their way with adam - I'm so sick of that sub-plot that drags on and on.

Plus he's in love with a member of 5-0 so he should be dead or have left by now.

Not sure what having Julie Benz's character achieved in last nights episode apart from mention about two detectives who are going to be making an appearance.

Guess they are setting up some sort of arc but begining to lose interest in the show.

I'm wondering if they're planning a spin off in the form of a remake of "The Streets of San Francisco"?

She seems kinda young to have worked with them. Maybe they were her babysitters.

Jerry seems kind of young to have worked with McGarrett, Williams, Chin Ho, and Kono. At least if you're talking about the "originals."

I'd imagine, like this Hawaii Five-0, those are the children of the originals, or at least people with the same/similar names.

Yep, they will no doubt go the same route as 5-0 and be characters with the same names as the originals. I do wonder if Stone will be as old as Malden's character. Malden was 60 when he started on The Streets of San Francisco.

Was there a thread set up for the latest season? Just saw the latest episode with Danno & Gracie & Will at the dance.

Nice to see Grover & Danno bond as dads, and minimum of Steve. I appreciate episodes like this

Due to a bad headache, I kind of slept my way through this week's episode. Didn't Jerry have a girlfriend last season? I did like the Grover and Danny discussion, glad that they haven't just brushed the Grace and Will thing under the table. It should provide for some great moments.
