But usually the first spike over 75 degrees only feels hot because I'm not used to it. I force myself to acclimate to the warmer weather. That, and I prefer open windows and doors. I get all depressed when I have to shut myself in the house over the winter, so as long as it's warm enough, I keep everything open so I can feel like "part of the world"

. And besides, the only air conditioning I have is inside my car. During summer I have all the windows in my room open and the fan running, that's cold enough 99% of the time.
Piggies can start showing signs of heatstroke above 75 degrees Farenheit. That's why I tuned it on a couple of weeks ago. Said guinea pig got a little too warm. She didn't go into heatstroke but she was drinking more and laying around. She is much more comfortable now.
