You know, a complete jerk, a retard, who has the mentality of a ten year old?

I used to work with one. Used to think it was a great joke to wipe his snot on equipment. Used to send fake love letters to people. Used to quiz everyone on when they lost their virginity, though when he did was nobody's business. Knew the colour of everybody's underwear.

My defence was to outdo him and act like a five year old. He couldn't stand it. You can get people who try to get whole communitys to do it. Make out that you are unsociable if you play the social equivalent of chess, when they can only play checkers, and they are so inept, they even cheat when they play themselves. Some of them, where I am, are in their sixties, with the mentality of ten year olds.

What do you do with them?

If I worked with someone like you describe, I'd report them for sexual harassment and incredibly inappropriate conduct.

I would never "sink to their level," as I have a modicum of self-respect.

I've now shot up to the level of a 23 year old. I used to try winding this guy up, as he was incredibly ignorant. He goosed the bosse's daughter and got away with it. The boss reckoned WE all had to get along with HIM. I've worked in some very chaotic jobs.

There was a sea about twenty miles away. He would have looked great at the bottom of it, along with the other retards I have met.

Why would I change jobs on account of some asshole? I'd make sure he got fired, and if my boss wouldn't do anything about it, you can be damn sure I'd get authorities involved. That sort of behavior is not tolerable in any work environment.

You do get to meet some people who are jealous of your ability to make sense of the world, which they regard as basically chaotic.

It's good when you can get people like that, to admit that they just don't like you cos of this, rather than making you out to be a rat, and a lizard, cos you survived an encounter with them.
