Have you ever felt tempted to steal something?

The last few nights, there is this Snicker's bar that one of the base general's is basically begging me to take it! i drop a paper off to this genral's office, and I got to put a paper on his desk, so he can see it when her gets the work later in the day.

Last night it was on his stand, and it looked huge. It was just sitting there, not being eaten and I was kind of hungry but I ignored. The guard's in the other room wouldn't have noticed me taking it. There usually to busy watching tv or playing video games.

The night the Snicker's bar was on his desk! It was moved even closer to were I put his paper. Also there was only one guard and she was asleep!

I'm worried tommrow there might be a sexy women in a cheerleader, waiting for me. Telling me if I take it, she will have sex with me. If that is the case I might break my ethic's and give in!

Have you ever seen something that you feel a urge to take, even though it's not yours and you know it's wrong? I mean most people don't steal things because we know that it is wrong to take from others(unless there rich and assholes, then they deserve it) but I asume most of us still felt tempted from time to time. It is human nature, afterall.

I have and I have succeeded without getting caught. Was during my dark teen years though and not big stuff. Am I proud of it? No. Was it something bad enough to go to jail for? Definitely not.

I've stolen lots of stuff. Not in a long, long time, though, and I wouldn't do it now. I basically did nothing wrong until I was 18, then I went crazy and had to get all that rebellion out of my system for a little while. I did all kinds of crazy stuff, the least of which was stealing.
I used to steal beer, 20's from the cash registers at my job, cigarettes, little stuff. No big heists or anything.:rommie:

No. I do not steal and have no desire to steal. I work for what I have.

Been there. Done that.

I stole this anime movie that was on dvd shelf from this former store, SUNCOAST, it was the last one before it was sold out, that left me no choice, but to steal it right away right under their noses without knowing that it's long gone.

Another than that, I even help my former friend to stealing VHS tape of Dragonball Z, I know that it's wrong to steal, but he couldn't let them out of his sight. How stupid can I be when it comes to stealing, hmm?

It was about six VHS tape, I believe. I told him that we can come back later to buy it, but he refused to leave this store, so I ended to helping him to take it all.

Was it worth to stealing them? No.

I will never steal the things out of the store ever again. Never again!

I've stolen things before. I stopped when i got caught at a local Wal*Mart. Never again.

You got caught? Then how come I never got caught at a local Wal*Mart? That's where my friends and I went there to buying things that grabbed our attention, but his love for Dragonball Z almost got us in the trouble. This old man stood there to checking things out before we could sneak out to getting the hell out of here. You could see the face of my grandfather, he was so angry that I helped him stealing that VHS tape of Dragonball Z.

After that..I was never the same again.

I stole a CD and the security thing was still on it and i went through the doors and it went off.

The trick is to use a key/sharp object and slice on the outer edge where the joints meet, then pop the inside tabs on the case, and slide the CD out. It takes about 5-8 seconds, and you can even put the CD case back on the shelf still looking like it's shrink wrapped.

I'm not proud of this, but I once nicked some teabags and coffee-sachets from my hotel-room. :alienblush:

I think those are included in your room rate. They want you to use the coffee and tea they provide. At least in every hotel I stay in.

More of a scavenger. I got two 3-drawer file cabinets left behind an Office Max, one had a gouge but was useful, the other just wear, but they were tossing them so...

Some old cinder blocks shopping center goons had left after dismantling a small wall around a sign.

A handful of times when I was flat broke and didn't even have money for food, yes. But aside from that, no -- I never have the temptation. I'd say right now around me is about $6,000+ in value of items ranging from a Dirty Harry gunn, to other valuables, but as far as I am concerened -- I could care less.

I have been tempted, though, to throw away ANY magzine that has Michael JAckson, OJ Simpson, Britany Spears, Tom Cruise, or any other freak, in the trash. Actually done that a couple times.

Just a few days ago, while giving hte Bush Kitties food, I found a pair of prescription glasses. I knew somebody, likely someone I've encountered feeding hte cats too, had probably bent over and they'd fallen from pocket. I left an e-mail asking to describe the glasses, on an old food package. Never once occured to me to steal them. As luck would have it, about 30 minutes later I am walking back to my car when someone pulls up. I instantly realize this must be the lady, so I stop and look over. She speaks about the glasses, and I open my right hand, revealing them, smiling.

A week or so back I found an iPhone that someone had dropped as they were leaving the lecture hall, and I'd be lying if I said that I hadn't briefly been tempted to keep it. As things eventuated, though, I called the most recent caller and told them what'd happened, said caller happened to work nearby so I dropped the phone off there. To cut a long story short, I wound up with $50 for my trouble. I think there's a lesson in there somewhere.

Yeah, I need to find lost iPhones from generous owners, too!

You just have to keep practicing, it comes naturally after a while.
